LA County Public Works issues a Drop Box (Roll Off Bin) Permit as a Road Encroachment Permit through the EPIC-LA portal. Applicants must use only County-approved vendors to place bins in public areas, and must upload insurance and a permit issued by the County Department of Public Health. Fees are invoiced through EPIC-LA at plan-check and processing; the page states no amounts, no duration and no bond.
